Funeral
When a loved one dies the family needs to contact the Funeral Home that will be taking care of the arrangements, The Funeral Director will contact the church.The family will need to make an appointment with the pastor for counseling on this subject. The documents below contains an outline of the Funeral service. The office staff is available to assist the family in planning for the Funeral Service.

Matrimony and Baptism are two of the seven sacraments of the Catholic Church and bring new life into the Church.

Marriage"1661 The Sacrament of Matrimony signifies the union of Christ and the Church. It give spouses the grace to love each other with the love with which Christ has loved his Church; the grace of the sacrament thus perfects the human love of the spouses, strengthens their indissoluble unity, and sanctifies them on the way to eternal life (cf. Council of Trent: DS 1799)"

Baptism
"1214 This sacrament is called Baptism, after the central rite by which it is carried out: to baptize (Greek baptizein) means to 'plunge' or 'immerse'; the 'plunge' into the water symbolizes the catechumen's burial into Christ's death, from which he rises up by resurrection with him, as a 'new creature.' (628)"
"1215 This sacrament is also called 'the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit,' for it signifies and actually brings about the birth of water and Spirit without which 'no one can enter the kingdom of God.' (1257)"

Anointing of the Sick (Formerly called the "The last rites")
"1499 By the sacred anointing of the sick and the prayer of the priests the whole Church commends those who are ill to the suffering and glorified Lord, that he may raise them up and save them. And indeed she exhorts them to contribute to the good of the People of God by freely uniting themselves to the Passion and death of Christ. 98"Holy Communion (Also knows as The Eucharist)
"The reception of the Body and Blood of Christ in the Eucharist (1382). More generally, our fellowship and union with Jesus and other baptized Christian in the Church which has its source and summit in the celebration of the Eucharist. "Those who approach the sacrament of Penance obtain pardon from God's mercy for the offense against him, and are, at the same time, reconciled with the Church which they have wounded by their sins and by which charity, by example, and by prayer labors for their conversion. (980)"
Conversion is... "a radical reorientation of the whole life away from sin and evil, and toward God. This change of heart; or conversion is a central element of Christ's preaching, of the Church's ministry of evangelization, and of the Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation ."
