The commentator welcomes the congregation and guests to St. Mark Church. He/she introduces the readings and the hymns for the service.
The Eucharistic Ministers are men and women who have a calling to serve the body of Christ in this capacity and are confirmed in it by the pastor for a set period of time.
The Eucharistic minister facilitates and assists in the distribution of the sacred bread and wine during the Liturgy of the Holy Eucharist. This ministry also takes the Holy Eucharist to the homebound faithful and to the faithful in hospitals and nursing homes.
The lectors of St. Mark are men and women who proclaim the Mass readings at Sabbath and weekday Masses. Lectors are assigned to read on a rotational basis which is determined by the Liturgical committee.
Liturgical dance draws on the Holy Spirit to blend music, movement and grace into the expression of our praise and worship of our Lord.
The men and women who prepare and care for the vestments and vessels of the Holy Mass.
They also prepare the bread and wine to be used during the Holy Mass.
Ushers are called to the task of greeting and seating those who attend the Mass at St. Mark.
It is the ushers ministry to make those who enter the Lord's doors feel welcome and safe.
Produces and facilitates events which include family members of all ages.
This includes a toy drive to collect Christmas toys for hospitalized children, the Family Halloween Party, the Family Christmas Party etc.
